Dorsett supplied concrete for what has been called an “extreme makeover” of the two-mile bridge over Galveston Causeway. With Galveston precaster Taylor Brothers, Dorsett produced 6000 psi compressive strength concrete for cast-in-place segmental box girders from a barge-mounted central-mix plant.
