Boral | Roswell, Ga. – North American business unit for Australia’s Boral has a dim view of the years ahead in the U.S. housing market. Boral is the country’s largest manufacturer of brick and roof tile. It cut its projected income for 2009 to $120 million, down from $243 million in 2008. The company originally projected income of $200 million for 2009, but that was based on an expected 800,000 new dwellings being built in 2009.
